Jedi Rankings

Yoda = 10 out of 10 – Grand Master Yoda is widely regarded as the most powerful Jedi of his era, with nearly 900 years of experience. His mastery of the Force and lightsaber combat is virtually unparalleled, as seen when he duels Darth Sidious in the Senate chamber during the Clone Wars’ end.

Luke Skywalker = 10 out of 10 – Luke is widely regarded as the most powerful Jedi in galactic history, surpassing even Yoda in raw ability. His feats are staggering: he defeated Darth Vader and redeemed him, resisted and later overcame Emperor Palpatine’s temptations, and in the Dark Empire saga, fought Sidious’s cloned bodies, enduring repeated confrontations with arguably the most dangerous Sith of all time. Luke mastered nearly every known lightsaber form and a vast array of Force abilities, from battle meditation to creating illusions so real they fooled entire fleets. He could crush AT-ATs with the Force, walk unharmed through blaster fire by preemptively deflecting every shot, and even pull a massive Star Destroyer from orbit in The New Jedi Order. Luke’s precognition was so refined he could sense events across the galaxy instantly, and his willpower allowed him to resist galaxy-spanning Sith mind control. As the Grand Master of the Jedi Order, Luke trained a new generation of Jedi while personally defeating foes ranging from Dark Jedi armies to Yuuzhan Vong warriors and Sith Lords. In sheer versatility, mastery, and scale of feats, Legends Luke stands as the definitive 10/10 Jedi.

Mace Windu = 9.9 out of 10 – Master Windu is one of the Order’s greatest duelists and a champion of the light. He mastered the aggressive Vaapad fighting style and even managed to momentarily best Darth Sidious in combat, showcasing power just slightly below Yoda’s.

Anakin Skywalker = 9.8 out of 10 – The Chosen One, Anakin has immense Force potential and raw power. By the end of the Clone Wars, his abilities in the Force and lightsaber skills (having defeated Count Dooku) place him among the elite, though his impulsiveness keeps him just a notch below Yoda and Windu.

Jaina Solo Fel = 9.7 out of 10 – Jaina Solo Fel, the Sword of the Jedi, was one of the greatest duelists and leaders of the New Jedi Order. As the daughter of Han and Leia, Jaina had immense Force potential – akin to her brother Jacen’s – but she honed it in unique ways. In terms of raw power, Jaina was extremely strong (capable of telekinetically moving heavy objects, having sharp reflexes, etc.), though slightly less mystical than Jacen. Her true standout was lightsaber combat: trained by Mara Jade and even Mandalorian Boba Fett, Jaina became a peerless fighter. This culminated in her duel against her brother Darth Caedus (Jacen Solo), whom she defeated in a brutal fight. It took everything Jaina had – drawing deeply on the Force for strength and clarity – but her victory over Caedus, who himself was nearly as powerful as Luke, cements Jaina’s place among the very top-tier duelists. She also showed Battle Meditation leadership during the Yuuzhan Vong War, coordinating squadrons as an ace pilot (her callsign was “Sticks” in Rogue Squadron). Notable feats include slaying the Yuuzhan Vong warlord Tsavong Lah in single combat and resisting various dark side temptations that plagued her lineage. Jaina’s Force talents encompassed telepathy with her twin, advanced piloting (enhanced by precognition), and even some dark side techniques when she flirted with them during the war – though she firmly remained Jedi. All told, Jaina’s balance of high raw Force ability, impeccable combat training, and tactical leadership earns her a spot near the top of the scale. She might not equal Grand Master Luke in sheer power, but she is certainly among the most powerful Jedi of her era and arguably one of the finest warriors the Order ever produced.

Obi-Wan Kenobi = 9.6 out of 10 – A wise and formidable Jedi Master, Obi-Wan’s defensive fighting style (Form III) and calm strategizing make him extremely effective. He defeated powerful opponents like Darth Maul and General Grievous, solidifying his place at the high end of the Jedi Order’s power scale. He’s a 9.8 when he has the high ground, obviously!

Avar Kriss = 9.6 out of 10 – Avar Kriss served as a Jedi Master renowned for her powerful connection to the Force and leadership during the High Republic. She could telepathically unite Jedi through the Force’s “song,” amplifying their collective abilities in battle. Kriss held off massive Nihil assaults and once coordinated a rescue by guiding Jedi to push back a deadly space anomaly. Her raw Force potential and battle meditation-like skills made her one of the era’s most formidable Jedi, even serving as the Jedi Order’s hero on missions like the Battle of Valo.

Kyp Durron = 9.5 out of 10 – Kyp Durron is one of the most rawly powerful Jedi of Luke’s new Order – arguably second only to Luke himself in pure Force strength during the New Republic era. As a young man, Kyp’s power erupted under Exar Kun’s dark influence: he telekinetically pulled the Sun Crusher superweapon out of a gas giant and later guided it into a star, causing a supernova (with some aid from the dark side). This feat – manipulating an artificial black hole’s gravity and a massive device – is nearly unheard of, and even Kyp’s peers were awed by the magnitude of his telekinesis. Kyp’s combat skills were aggressive and formidable; he fully embraced Form VII (aggressive forms) and even dabbled in dark side techniques. In the Yuuzhan Vong War, Kyp developed the “shadow-bomb” technique, using the Force to stealth-launch proton torpedoes with deadly precision. He also demonstrated the ability to yank a dovin basal (a Vong artificial black hole) off a ship, destroying the vessel – a feat of power that led Kyp to (briefly) boast he might be the strongest Jedi alive. Kyp’s Force lightning and other dark arts were strong, though he later stabilized his morality. His only relative downside was a lack of patience and some arrogance in youth, which could cloud judgment. But head-to-head, Kyp’s sheer power and unbridled intensity made him a one-man wrecking crew. He stood up to Luke (while under dark influence) and later dueled deadly slayers in the Vong war. Kyp’s rating is extremely high due to his immense telekinetic feats and combat power, which few in Legends can match. Unlike some intellectual Masters, Kyp’s abilities manifest in direct, overwhelming Force usage – earning him a place among the top echelon.

Plo Koon = 9.4 out of 10 – A Kel Dor Jedi Master respected for his wisdom and strong connection to the Force. Plo Koon discovered Ahsoka Tano and served on the Council; he demonstrated powerful telekinetic abilities and piloting skills, marking him as one of the stronger Jedi in the Order.

Ahsoka Tano = 9.4 out of 10 – Though only a Padawan during the Clone Wars, Ahsoka’s skills grew rapidly under Anakin’s mentorship. By the war’s end, she defeated Darth Maul in single combat on Mandalore, a feat that speaks to her considerable power. Her abilities came to rival those of more senior Jedi, earning her a strong mid-tier score.

Mara Jade Skywalker = 9.4 out of 10 – Mara Jade began as the Emperor’s Hand – a highly skilled operative trained in stealth, hand-to-hand combat, and rudimentary dark side techniques – and later became a Jedi Master and wife to Luke Skywalker. Her Force sensitivity was strong but not on the Skywalker level; what made Mara formidable was her deadly training and sharp instincts. As an Imperial agent, she could sense her targets across great distances and was expert in mind tricks and infiltrations. In combat, Mara was an exceptional duelist and markswoman; she defeated numerous Dark Jedi and warriors (including the crazed clone Luuke Skywalker in a duel). After embracing the light side, Mara’s powers matured: she learned advanced Jedi techniques and even instructed younger Jedi. She was noted for her Force awareness and agility, often fighting with a cool, pragmatic style. One of her notable feats was resisting the call of the dark side entity in the Jedi Academy trilogy and helping Luke reform the Order. Mara’s special abilities included a talent for Force meld/coordination during combat and an uncanny danger sense (honed from her spy days). She did not display planet-shaking Force powers, focusing instead on precision and efficiency. On the whole, Mara ranks as a high-level Jedi Master in skill – nearly on par with the likes of Kyle Katarn or Kyp Durron in lightsaber ability – but her raw Force power, while significant, was outmatched by those from extraordinary bloodlines or long study. Her tenacity, experience, and lack of any obvious weakness made her a consistently effective Jedi, deserving a strong but not topmost score.

Anakin Solo = 9.3 out of 10 — The youngest son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, Anakin Solo was a prodigy whose connection to the Force rivaled that of his uncle Luke Skywalker. From childhood, his reflexes, piloting skill, and instinctive Force use marked him as exceptional, and as he matured, his abilities surpassed nearly all of his peers. Anakin’s combat feats during the Yuuzhan Vong War were legendary: he could sense the Vong through the Force when few others could, wield his lightsaber with near-perfect precision, and lead missions against overwhelming odds. In Star by Star, his final stand cemented his place among the greatest Jedi of his era — holding off waves of Yuuzhan Vong warriors and Slayers to protect his team, killing dozens before finally succumbing to mortal wounds. Even mortally injured, he projected an aura of power that inspired his allies and disrupted his enemies. His raw Force talent included advanced battle precognition, high-level telekinesis, and an almost instinctive mastery of mechanical manipulation, allowing him to repair or modify technology at impossible speeds. Though his life was tragically cut short, Anakin’s realized power already placed him among the top tier of Jedi, and his unrealized potential suggests he could have rivaled or surpassed Luke himself.

Rey Skywalker (Rey Palpatine) = 9.2 out of 10 – Rey Skywalker boasts tremendous innate Force power, being the granddaughter of Darth Sidious. Her raw potential manifested quickly despite minimal training – Rey instinctively performed advanced feats: she resisted and reversed Kylo Ren’s mind probe with raw strength, summoned a lightsaber past him, and defeated a wounded Kylo in her very first duel. As her connection grew, Rey showed telekinetic prowess on a massive scale, such as lifting a rockslide of boulders effortlessly to save the Resistance. She also learned to heal wounds using the Force and even tamed a wild serpent, evidencing powerful Jedi compassion. Rey’s lightsaber skills, while initially self-taught, became formidable – by her final battles she could duel Kylo Ren evenly and strike in perfect unison with him against Snoke’s guards. Her crowning feat came on Exegol: bolstered by the strength of all the Jedi, Rey withstood Darth Sidious’s full Force lightning barrage. By crossing two lightsabers, she not only blocked Sidious’s onslaught but reflected it back to utterly destroy him. This act required astronomical raw power and resolve, even if aided by the legendary Jedi of the past. Rey’s combination of sky-high Force potential, instinctive adaptability, and quickly honed combat skill places her among the most powerful Jedi in history. Any relative weaknesses (limited formal training and moments of self-doubt) were rapidly overcome by her surge in mastery during the final war, solidifying her top-tier status in the Jedi power hierarchy.

Qui-Gon Jinn = 9.2 out of 10 – Qui-Gon Jinn was one of the most enlightened Jedi Masters of his era, famed for his deep connection to the Living Force and his willingness to follow it over rigid adherence to the Jedi Council’s doctrine. A highly skilled lightsaber duelist specializing in Form IV (Ataru), he was agile, precise, and powerful enough to battle the Sith Lord Darth Maul nearly to a standstill — an opponent who would later kill a fully trained Jedi Master in seconds. In Legends, Qui-Gon’s power extended beyond combat: he was one of the few Jedi to uncover the secret to retaining his consciousness after death, becoming the first in the modern Order to achieve Force ghost immortality, later teaching this skill to Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi. His telekinetic skill and Force sense were formidable, allowing him to influence the weak-minded effortlessly, sense danger before it struck, and even communicate across great distances. While he wasn’t as politically influential or galactic in scale as Yoda or Mace Windu, his unique blend of combat mastery, spiritual insight, and groundbreaking mastery of immortality secure his place among the most powerful Jedi in Star Wars history.

Jacen Solo (Darth Caedus) = 9.1 out of 10 – Jacen Solo, later known as Darth Caedus, was enormously powerful – one of the few in Legends who could contend with Luke Skywalker. As a young Jedi, Jacen had an intense connection to animals and the living Force, and he studied under many Force-using sects to broaden his abilities. When he embraced the dark side and became Caedus, his power exploded to terrifying heights. He possessed profound telekinetic strength (e.g., hurling Luke across a room with a gesture during a duel), and mastery of mind manipulation and foresight – Jacen could flow-walk (a form of limited time-viewing) and foresee numerous possible futures. In combat, Caedus was a skilled lightsaber duelist, holding off multiple Jedi at once. His notable feats include single-handedly defeating Mara Jade Skywalker in a close duel (using deception and technique to fatally wound her), and surviving a furious assault from Luke (who was enhanced by rage at the time) – in that fight, Luke beat Jacen into near-submission, but Jacen’s durability and skills kept him alive. Caedus also used Force lightning, choke, and even learned some Sith sorcery, making him extremely versatile. What sets Jacen apart is his strategic use of the Force: he once united the minds of the Jedi for a battle meld, and later as a Sith he could mask his presence from detection by his family. By the end, it took Jaina (after special training) to finally kill Caedus, and even then Jacen nearly defeated her by using an illusion to momentarily distract his twin. Jacen’s only relative weakness was perhaps overconfidence and the emotional conflict that remained within him. In terms of sheer power, though, he was regarded as the strongest of his generation of Jedi – only Luke was acknowledged to be superior. Thus, Jacen Solo/Caedus ranks extremely high, with raw Force potency, knowledge, and combat skill placing him just a step below the likes of Luke or ancient Sith emperors.

Ben Solo (Kylo Ren) = 9.0 out of 10 – Ben Solo – later known as Kylo Ren – inherited the Skywalker bloodline’s formidable Force strength, and it shows. From his earliest training, Ben was exceptional: Luke Skywalker noted that young Ben surpassed all his other students and had “raw strength” that made him a natural leader for a new generation. As Kylo Ren, he demonstrated telekinetic and telepathic prowess on a fearsome scale: he could freeze a blaster bolt in mid-air with a thought and hold it suspended effortlessly – a reflexive display of power rarely seen. He also stopped people in their tracks and probed minds with the dark side; even Rey described feeling that his Force presence was “strong” and overwhelming during her capture. In lightsaber combat, Kylo was highly skilled – trained by Luke and Snoke – employing an aggressive style fueled by passion. He held his own against Rey multiple times and defeated skilled fighters like the elite Praetorian Guards. His notable feats include bridging minds with Rey across great distances (through their Force dyad) and using the Force to collapse Luke’s Jedi temple (though that involved Snoke’s influence). By the end of his journey, Ben Solo returned to the light and showed healing abilities as well. He is, however, just shy of the absolute pinnacle: characters like Luke or Sidious still outmatch him in refined power. But Kylo’s raw might, honed by dark side ferocity, allowed him to ragdoll Rey in the Force tug-of-war over a transport and literally hold blaster fire in place. Such feats place him firmly among the most powerful Force-users of his era, with only the lack of emotional balance keeping him from ranking even higher.

Yaddle = 8.9 out of 10 – Yaddle, a member of Yoda’s species, was a Jedi Master on the High Council known for her deep wisdom and strong command of the Force. While not as outwardly powerful as Master Yoda, Yaddle possessed formidable raw Force abilities, including rare techniques. In Legends, she demonstrated a morichro technique to slow bodily functions, and in canon she was respected enough to serve on the Council by the time of Episode I. Her lightsaber skills were proficient, though she often favored knowledge and negotiation over combat. Yaddle’s notable act in canon was facing Count Dooku – a battle in which her power was impressive but ultimately not enough to survive. Overall, her ancient species’ potent connection to the Force and centuries of experience grant her a high rating, just a step below the top Masters.

Quinlan Vos = 8.9 out of 10 –  A maverick Jedi Master with strong instincts, Vos has the rare ability of psychometry (sensing memories from objects) and excellent combat skills. During the Clone Wars he undertook dangerous undercover missions; his talent and unorthodox methods give him a power level on the high end of the spectrum, though slightly below the Council’s top Masters.

Yarael Poof = 8.8 out of 10 – Yarael Poof was a Quermian Jedi Master on the High Council, distinguished by his calm wisdom and mastery of mind tricks and illusions. While physically frail-looking, Poof’s Force aptitude was significant in the mental realm – he could subtly influence perceptions and was said to be skilled in Jedi mind clouding techniques. He carried a lightsaber but rarely drew it; notably, in Legends, he sacrificed himself to stop a terrorist super-weapon on Coruscant, using the Force to contain an explosion at the cost of his life. This act speaks to considerable Force strength in a niche application (containment and self-sacrifice). Overall, Poof’s combat prowess was modest, but his mental Force abilities and sacrificial feat give him a solid, if not top-tier, power ranking.

Nomi Sunrider = 8.8 out of 10 – Nomi Sunrider was one of the greatest Jedi of the ancient Old Republic (around 4,000 BBY), rising from novice to Jedi Master and leader within a short span. Her Force potential was exceptional: Nomi learned battle meditation and could inspire entire armies while confusing her enemies. Her most famous feat was stripping the Force from the fallen Ulic Qel-Droma – using a sever Force ability in a moment of clarity and power. This rare skill instantly ended Ulic’s connection, a feat only achievable by someone of tremendous Force will and strength. In lightsaber combat, Nomi was initially reluctant (taking up the blade only after her husband’s death), but she became proficient enough to face Sith enemies in the Great Sith War. She killed the Dark Side sorcerer King Ommin and fought bravely in battles against Exar Kun’s forces. As a leader, Nomi’s understanding of the Force was deep – she was elected to lead the Jedi Assembly after the war, guiding the Order with wisdom. Her raw power might not be planet-shattering, but her advanced skills in meditation, light-side defensive powers, and that singularly powerful Sever Force moment place her very high. Nomi effectively ended a prominent Sith threat through pure Force ability rather than physical duel, underlining her mystical power. Considering her era’s standards, only a few (like Odan-Urr or Thon) could rival her command of the Force. Thus, Nomi Sunrider scores as an elite Master, particularly strong in mental and spiritual applications of the Force that few others have mastered.

Oppo Rancisis = 8.7 out of 10 – Oppo Rancisis, a Thisspiasian Jedi Master on the Council, was a strategist with a formidable Force talent in battle meditation. He could psychically coordinate armies and diminish enemy morale – a subtle yet massive Force feat. While his lightsaber abilities were seldom showcased, Rancisis had the distinction of surviving numerous battles during the Clone Wars. In Legends, he also knew the art of Malacia (inducing dizziness in foes). His raw Force power was strong, though focused more on meditation and less on direct telekinetic dominance. He was ultimately killed by an assassin in the Clone Wars (Legends), which suggests his close-combat defenses were average. Still, as a long-serving Council Master with rare skills, Rancisis was quite powerful in his own specialized way.

Cin Drallig = 8.7 out of 10 – Cin Drallig was the Jedi Temple’s battlemaster and lightsaber instructor, famed for his swordsmanship. He mastered multiple forms and personally trained generations of Jedi in combat. Drallig’s raw Force power was respectable if not legendary; it was his refined dueling skill that stood out most. In Revenge of the Sith, he fought bravely during Operation Knightfall, even momentarily holding his own against Darth Vader (Anakin) before being slain. Earlier, he could hold off two Inquisitor-level foes simultaneously during training exercises. Though ultimately outmatched by Vader’s superior Force might, Drallig’s impeccable lightsaber ability and decades of experience mark him as a high-tier Jedi combatant just below the very strongest.

Kelleran Beq = 8.6 out of 10 – Kelleran Beq, nicknamed the “Sabered Hand,” was a Jedi Master known for his aptitude in training younglings and his flashy dual lightsaber technique. He demonstrated solid skills by dual-wielding lightsabers and excelling in Temple challenge trials. Beq’s most notable feat in canon was heroically rescuing Grogu during Order 66 – he swiftly defeated a squad of clone troopers with both blade work and Force leaps while piloting a speeder to safety. This showcases above-average lightsaber prowess and courage under fire. His raw Force power appears standard for a Master (enhanced reflexes, telekinesis, etc.), without known feats of grand magnitude. Kelleran’s combination of ambidextrous lightsaber mastery and solid Force ability earns him a moderate rating, fitting for a Jedi whose strength lay in skill and heart rather than sheer power.

Cal Kestis = 8.5 out of 10 – Cal Kestis, a Padawan who survived the Purge, steadily evolved into a powerful Jedi Knight by the time of the Empire’s reign. Early on, Cal’s Force abilities were rusty, but he re-mastered them to perform advanced feats: he could slow blaster bolts mid-air (Force Stasis) and tame dangerous beasts through the Force. In combat, Cal proved his mettle by defeating two Imperial Inquisitors – the Second Sister and Ninth Sister – in lightsaber duels. He also matched skills with fallen Jedi like Taron Malicos and the High Republic exile Dagan Gera, overcoming them with a mix of saber skill and Force powers. Cal’s raw Force strength is significant though not Skywalker-tier; for example, he can telekinetically hurl multiple enemies or objects at once and perform tremendous leaps. Perhaps his most impressive moment was briefly confronting Darth Vader – Cal was outclassed, surviving only by a desperate escape, which underlines that while he is formidable, greater dark side masters exceed his power. Overall, Cal’s excellent dueling proficiency across multiple lightsaber stances, coupled with strong but not unlimited Force ability, place him as a high Knight/low Master level in this era.

Kyle Katarn = 8.5 out of 10 – Kyle Katarn – former Imperial commando turned Jedi – was a formidable and pragmatic Jedi Master in Luke’s New Jedi Order. His journey from soldier to Jedi gave him a wide array of skills. In pure Force terms, Kyle was very strong (if not Skywalker-strong): he learned quickly and even briefly flirted with the dark side, which ironically gave him insight and resilience. Kyle defeated seven Dark Jedi (including Jerec) during the Valley of the Jedi incident, a testament to both his lightsaber prowess and clever use of the Force. He became known as a lightsaber instructor in the academy, famed for a straightforward, effective fighting style. Katarn’s notable feats include killing the Dark Jedi Desann’s apprentice and later defeating the Dark Jedi Desann himself, who had enhanced powers from the Valley – Kyle’s experience and power saw him through. He’s also shown adeptness in Force stealth and mind tricks during covert missions. Kyle had strong telekinetic abilities (able to hurl multiple enemies or objects), and was skilled at defensive techniques like Force protection. While he humbly claimed not to be the most powerful Jedi, he was often the one sent on the most dangerous assignments – implying the Council’s trust in his abilities. In the Legacy of the Force series, Kyle even goes toe-to-toe with Jacen Solo (Caedus) briefly; though injured in that duel, he survived, demonstrating he could contend with a top-tier Sith for a time. Katarn’s no-nonsense approach and wealth of combat experience make him one of the NJO’s best, with a power level solidly in the Master tier. He might lack the raw ceiling of a Skywalker, but in a fight or Force contest, few others would want to face Kyle Katarn.

Ezra Bridger = 8.4 out of 10 – Ezra Bridger, once a street urchin of Lothal, became a talented Padawan and later a Jedi-in-training who performed feats beyond many Knights. Ezra’s raw Force affinity for living creatures was exceptional – he could instinctively connect and communicate with animals. By the age of 18, he summoned an entire pod of purrgil (space whales) and commanded them through the Force, using them to capture Grand Admiral Thrawn’s fleet. He also grew skilled in telekinesis and mind tricks: Ezra was capable of levitating multiple targets and even influencing AT-DP pilots to turn on each other. His lightsaber skills improved steadily; he sparred to a draw with Kanan and held off Imperial Inquisitors in battle. Ezra’s notable feats include resisting Emperor Palpatine’s temptations and briefly aiding Ahsoka Tano in repelling Darth Sidious’s dark-side assault with a Force barrier. These accomplishments, achieved while still a youth, highlight Ezra’s high potential. Though not fully refined into a Jedi Master’s control, his combination of burgeoning power, creative Force use, and growing swordsmanship earns him a strong rating among the new generation.

Kit Fisto = 8.3 out of 10 – A highly skilled Nautolan Jedi Master known for his upbeat demeanor, Fisto is a master duelist. He fought General Grievous and later was one of the four Jedi Masters who confronted Darth Sidious (though he fell in that battle). His combat prowess earns him a high rating among the Jedi.

Depa Billaba = 8.3 out of 10 – Depa Billaba was a Jedi Council Master trained by Mace Windu himself, and one of the few to master his vaunted Vaapad lightsaber form. In combat, she was second only to Windu in that aggressive form’s use, giving her an edge against dark side opponents by channeling their fury. Billaba’s raw Force power was considerable – she was enlightened and strong enough to earn a Council seat – but her greatest feat in Legends, turning to the dark side madness on Haruun Kal, also showed the limits of her control. In canon, she heroically fell in Order 66, cutting down many clones to protect her Padawan Caleb Dume. Her lightsaber prowess (Vaapad mastery) and high Jedi rank demonstrate a strong balance of power and skill, though not quite on the level of Yoda or Windu.

Elzar Mann = 8.2 out of 10 – Elzar Mann was an inventive Jedi Master who often experimented with the Force in unorthodox ways. His raw Force power was considerable – he once used the Force in a creative burst to disperse a massive destructive tornado threatening lives. Mann’s lightsaber skills were solid, though he sometimes struggled with balance due to his curiosity about forbidden knowledge. Despite occasional brushes with the dark side, his intuition and willingness to try new Force techniques (such as powerful visions and telekinetic feats) cemented him as a top Jedi of his era. He played a pivotal role in battles against the Nihil, proving both his strength and resourcefulness.

Stellan Gios = 8.1 out of 10 – A member of the Jedi Council during the High Republic, Stellan Gios was a disciplined and highly skilled Jedi Master. He was a well-rounded Force user, strong in the light side and a capable duelist who wielded a blue lightsaber pike. Gios’s leadership and calm under pressure were notable – he coordinated defenses during the Republic Fair disaster and faced down Nihil threats while protecting civilians. While not the most overwhelmingly powerful in raw Force potential, he combined respectable Force ability with excellent lightsaber form and diplomacy. His noble sacrifice during the Fall of Starlight Beacon underscored his strength and dedication.

Master Sol = 8.0 out of 10 – Jedi Master Sol (from the late High Republic era) was respected for his wisdom and strength, though marred by a tragic choice. He had solid Force abilities and lightsaber proficiency, evidenced by his survival against a secret Sith Lord known as the “Stranger” – Sol even bested the Stranger in an initial duel. His notable feats include sensing a Force vergence that restored life to a barren planet and defeating a fellow Master who was under a witch’s possession. While not among the era’s absolute top-tier in raw power, Sol’s adept use of the Force and decisive (if flawed) leadership placed him above many peers. Ultimately, he was overpowered by personal consequences when his Padawan turned on him, suggesting limitations in his defensive power against those close to him.

Kao Cen Darach = 8.0 out of 10 – Kao Cen Darach was a Zabrak Jedi Master who lived during the Old Republic’s prime (around 3,681 BBY) and became legendary for his last stand against the Sith. Master Darach’s lightsaber mastery was on full display when the Sith Empire ambushed the Republic at Korriban: he fought with both single and double-bladed techniques, swiftly adapting in battle. In the famous Old Republic trailer, Darach single-handedly held off Sith Lord Vindican and his brutal apprentice Malgus simultaneously, managing to slay Vindican (a full-fledged Sith Master) and briefly hold back Malgus. This feat demonstrates superior saber skill and strength in the Force – he was enhancing his speed and precognition to duel two Sith at once. Ultimately, Darach was overwhelmed and killed by Malgus, but not before ensuring his Padawan’s escape. Kao Cen Darach’s Force abilities, aside from augmentation in combat, weren’t deeply catalogued – his power seems focused on battle. He likely had solid all-around skills as a Master, but his rating here leans on his martial accomplishment. Defeating one Sith Lord and contending with another at the same time is extraordinary, signaling a power level on par with the better duelists of the era. Darach lacked backup or healing feats, and fell to Malgus (who went on to be one of the most notorious Sith), which pegs Darach’s raw power a notch below the absolute best. Still, his brave sacrifice and combat prowess earn him a high score among Jedi Guardians.

Porter Engle = 7.9 out of 10 – Known as the “Blade of Bardotta,” Porter Engle was a legendary Jedi Master and duelist of the High Republic era. In his prime he was virtually unbeatable with a lightsaber, having refined his swordsmanship over many decades. While his raw Force power was not as celebrated as some of his contemporaries, Engle’s unparalleled combat skill and experience allowed him to defeat skilled adversaries and earn a reputation as a consummate warrior. Even in older age, his tactical mind and saber technique made him a respected Master.

Lowbacca = 7.9 out of 10 – Lowbacca, the Wookiee Jedi Knight (and Chewbacca’s nephew), was a loyal member of the New Jedi Order with a blend of Wookiee brawn and Jedi training. Physically, Lowbacca’s strength was tremendous (as expected from a Wookiee); he could overpower many foes in close quarters. In the Force, Lowbacca had decent aptitude – he constructed his bronze-bladed lightsaber and showed skill in mechanics, often using a translator droid to communicate. Lowie (as his friends called him) excelled at technical Force applications like interfacing with machines and starships. In combat, he was brave and formidable: during the Yuuzhan Vong War, Lowbacca fought on the front lines, cutting down Vong warriors and even slaying one of the Voxyn creatures bred to hunt Jedi. His Force abilities, while reliable, were never portrayed as particularly advanced or unusual; for example, Jaina and Jacen often outstripped him in telekinesis or piloting. Lowbacca’s lightsaber style made good use of his reach and strength, but he sometimes struggled with finesse due to his temper (Wookiee rage could be an issue). As time went on, he grew in control and became a valued Jedi Knight and eventually a Master in the Jedi Council by the Legacy era. Still, relative to others of his cohort, Lowbacca’s power ranking sits somewhat lower: he was strong and competent, but not the one unleashing massive Force feats. His nearly 8.0 score reflects a capable Jedi who leverages his species’ natural advantages in service of the light, without breaking into the upper tiers of Force mastery.

Ki-Adi-Mundi = 7.9 out of 10 – A Cerean Jedi Master and Council member, Ki-Adi-Mundi led many campaigns during the war. He was a capable swordsman and strategist (though ultimately outnumbered by clones on Mygeeto). His abilities are formidable, if not quite on the level of the very strongest Masters.

Aayla Secura = 7.8 out of 10 – A Twi’lek Jedi Knight (and former padawan of Quinlan Vos) known for her agility and lightsaber skills. Aayla fought alongside Clone Troopers on many fronts and was a capable General. While not a Council-level Master yet, her talents were notable, placing her toward the upper end of Jedi Knights in terms of power.

Ganner Rhysode = 7.8 out of 10 – Ganner Rhysode’s power story is one of a heroic last stand transcending his earlier limitations. Initially a brash Jedi Knight during the Yuuzhan Vong War, Ganner was strong but not notably above his peers – he was a competent duelist and adept in the Force, but had not distinguished himself. That changed on Coruscant (Yuuzhan’tar) when Ganner, inspired by a vision of purpose, faced an army of Yuuzhan Vong warriors alone to protect Jacen Solo. In that legendary stand, Ganner tapped into the Force at a level he never had before: he fought with unprecedented skill and resolve, cutting down dozens upon dozens of Vong. Witnesses described him as an almost mythical figure at the gate, glowing with the Force and declaring, “None shall pass,” holding off the enemy single-handedly. This incredible feat – delaying an entire army and slaying possibly hundreds of elite warriors – elevated Ganner’s status (in lore, the Vong even began to revere the tale of “the Ganner”). At that moment, his power in the Force was monumental, fueled by self-sacrifice. However, it did result in his death when the effort finally overwhelmed him. On the whole, rating Ganner is unique: in day-to-day terms he was a mid-tier Jedi Knight, but in that final blaze of glory he ascended to a level rivaling the greatest of Jedi in combat efficacy. Taking an average, we give him a high rating reflecting that his connection to the Force can reach phenomenal heights under dire circumstances. Ganner’s story shows how a Jedi’s true power might manifest in one critical moment. While not as consistently powerful as Masters like Kyp or Kyle, Ganner’s peak performance was so grand that it secures him a strong placement.

Saba Sebatyne = 7.8 out of 10 – Saba Sebatyne, a Barabel Jedi Master, was a ferocious fighter and eventually a leading member of Luke’s Jedi Council. Her raw Force power was strong, if not Anakin Skywalker-level, but augmented by her Barabel physiology and predator instincts, she became one of the Order’s toughest warriors. Saba’s combat feats are numerous: she dueled the elusive Dark Jedi Welk to the death, battled hordes of Yuuzhan Vong – even biting and tearing apart Vong warriors with tooth and claw when needed – and in the Swarm War, she slew UnuThul (Raynar Thul), who was empowered by the Killik Colony, in a no-holds-barred duel. As a Master, Saba also briefly took Grand Master duties when Luke was exiled, demonstrating leadership and battle meditation during the Second Galactic Civil War. Saba’s approach to the Force was instinctual and aggressive; she excelled in beast control (fitting her reptilian nature) and had a knack for sensing weaknesses in foes. Her telekinetic strength was well above average – she could yank weapons away or hurl multiple enemies. Perhaps her most striking feat was fighting Darth Caedus: Saba confronted Jacen Solo one-on-one and wounded him, nearly matching the Sith Lord until he escaped (this was shortly before Caedus’s end, showing Saba was one of the few who could contend with him physically). This battle-hardened Master had few weaknesses; if anything, her predatory aggressiveness could sometimes edge toward dark instincts, but she usually kept balance with a wry sense of humor. Given her track record – effectively handling elite foes and surviving scenarios that killed other Masters – Saba deserves a high rating. She might not have reality-warping Force powers, but in a straight fight or war scenario, her power and ferocity make her one of the Jedi’s greatest assets, ranking just below the very top tier.

Kanan Jarrus (Caleb Dume) = 7.7 out of 10 – Kanan Jarrus was a survivor of Order 66 who became a Jedi Knight leading the Ghost crew. While initially he suppressed his powers, Kanan grew into a formidable Jedi. His raw Force potential was decent – not on Skywalker level, but enough to perform impressive feats when pushed. Notably, Kanan held back an explosion of an Imperial fuel depot with the Force, creating an energy barrier and telekinetically shoving his friends to safety at the cost of his life. This sacrifice demonstrated a surge of power fueled by complete focus and selflessness. In lightsaber combat, Kanan’s Form III defensive skills were strong (he dueled the Grand Inquisitor to victory), and even blind he could defeat skilled foes by sensing through the Force. His leadership and Jedi teachings further bolstered his effectiveness. Overall, Kanan’s power lies in well-rounded ability and heart, marking him as a solid Knight who occasionally touched greatness in moments of need.

Barriss Offee = 7.6 out of 10 – A Mirialan Jedi Padawan (to Luminara Unduli) who had moderate skills in the Force and lightsaber combat. Barriss could hold her own against other Padawans (even dueling Anakin briefly during her betrayal), but her power was far below that of experienced Masters. She’s rated toward the lower end of this group.

Corran Horn = 7.6 out of 10 – Corran Horn, Corellian Jedi and former Rogue Squadron pilot, had a very unusual Force skill set with notable strengths and weaknesses. Coming from the Halcyon bloodline, Corran had a genetic inability to perform standard telekinesis – he struggled to lift even pebbles via the Force. This would normally be a crippling limitation, but Corran’s heritage granted him exceptional talent in energy absorption and mental Force techniques. He could absorb energy (such as heat, blaster fire, or even Force energy) and channel it to temporarily boost his strength or telekinetic ability. For example, when charged up, Corran once lifted and saved Jedi Knight Tionne despite his usual telekinesis block. He also became very skilled with mind tricks and illusions, able to alter perceptions on a whole room of people when needed. In combat, Corran compensated creatively: he was a skilled duelist (defeating Yuuzhan Vong warriors and sparring well with other Jedi). He wielded a unique dual-phase lightsaber and relied on strategy and trickery to win fights – notably, he slew the Inquisitor-turned-Vong Executor Shedao Shai by goading him into a duel and then outsmarting him. Corran’s feats also include resisting the Dark Side temptation of Exar Kun’s spirit and later helping Luke in many leadership capacities. Though not a powerhouse in raw kinetic Force, Corran’s piloting skills, marksmanship, and clever Force use made him very effective. His power ranking is lower than some peers simply because his lack of innate telekinesis is a significant limitation without preparation. But his strong suits – energy absorption (a rare Mastery) and mind manipulation – along with solid saber prowess, secure him a respectable place. He’s the Jedi you underestimate at your peril, turning disadvantages into advantages in surprising ways.

General Leia Organa = 7.5 out of 10 – Leia Organa, twin sister of Luke Skywalker, had the same Skywalker potential for immense Force power – “immensely strong in the Force” by virtue of being the Chosen One’s daughter. However, Leia’s path led her to leadership more than Jedi training, so her realized Force abilities remained comparatively restrained. In canon, Leia did undergo Jedi training for a time: she constructed and wielded a lightsaber with enough skill to spar evenly with Luke during her final lesson – even momentarily “besting” him in a friendly duel. Her innate power shone through in intuitive feats: from sensing the deaths of loved ones across the galaxy, to calling out through the Force to reach her son Ben Solo at a critical moment (a deeply powerful act that cost Leia her life). She also famously saved herself in space by unconsciously cocooning her body in the Force and flying back to her ship after an explosion. In Legends, Leia became a Jedi Knight and demonstrated refined skills like deflecting blaster bolts and using battle meditation. Overall, Leia’s rating balances her colossal potential (which, had she devoted to Jedi arts, could rival Luke’s) with her chosen focus on diplomacy and command. She had solid lightsaber proficiency and could wield the Force impressively on occasion, but she intentionally never pushed those gifts to their maximum. Thus, as a Jedi, Leia stands as a mid-to-high tier – extraordinarily strong in the Force by lineage, yet only lightly trained compared to dedicated Jedi Masters.

Vernestra Rwoh = 7.5 out of 10 – Vernestra “Vern” Rwoh was a prodigious Mirialan Jedi who became a full Knight at age 15 – one of the youngest ever. Her innate Force potential was high, evidenced by her quick mastery of Jedi teachings and the construction of an innovative lightwhip-lightsaber. Vernestra’s strength lay in her calm focus and versatility: she successfully guided younger Jedi and solved complex challenges using the Force. She could sense disturbances keenly and had talent in technometry (understanding technology via the Force), as shown when she deciphered ancient machines. In combat, Vernestra handled Nihil marauders and Drengir plant-creatures deftly, though she relied on strategy and agility over brute force. Being so young, her raw power had room to grow – she wasn’t moving mountains or overcoming Council Masters in duels. However, by the later High Republic phases, Vernestra had only improved, eventually taking on a Master’s responsibilities. Given her youth in the High Republic era, a rating of 7.0 reflects a very strong Knight who can contend with experienced enemies but isn’t at her prime’s peak yet. Among Legends characters, this is comparable to a promising young Knight with high potential (akin to early Jaina Solo or Ben Skywalker). As she matures, Vernestra could rank higher, but at the time of her known exploits, she’s impressive but not yet among the absolute elite.

Cere Junda = 7.4 out of 10 – Cere Junda was a Jedi Master who initially cut herself off from the Force, only to reconnect and reach an apex of power during the Imperial Era. Once her bond to the Force was restored, Cere’s abilities surged – she demonstrated combat prowess and raw power rivaling the most powerful figures of her time. In a remarkable duel on Nur, Cere gave Darth Vader himself a serious fight: she momentarily brought Vader to his knees by pinning him with an overwhelming Force attack fueled by righteous anger. Years later, on Jedha, Cere again confronted Vader, this time in complete serenity, and nearly defeated him. She broke Vader’s defenses, landed damaging blows (even setting parts of his suit ablaze), and Force-slammed the Dark Lord with such ferocity that he was briefly overwhelmed. Vader only prevailed by outmaneuvering her final strike, showing how close Cere came to a victory few could claim. Beyond dueling, Cere’s deep knowledge of Jedi lore and meditation bolstered her strategic power. Her example – facing Vader twice and almost winning the second time – underscores a Master with extraordinary Force command and lightsaber skill, placing her among the upper echelon of Jedi in raw power and technique (despite ultimately falling in battle).

Eeth Koth = 7.3 out of 10 – A Zabrak Jedi Master who served on the Council early in the war, Koth survived a grueling duel with General Grievous (despite serious injuries). He demonstrated strong resilience and combat skill. He’s rated in the mid tier – capable and strong, but not unbeatable.

Shaak Ti = 7.2 out of 10 – A Togruta Jedi Master renowned for her grace and fighting skill. Shaak Ti defended Kamino from Separatist attacks and was one of the last Masters guarding the Jedi Temple. Her power in the Force and with a lightsaber is significant, placing her among the higher tiers of Jedi Masters.

Agen Kolar = 7.1 out of 10 – A Zabrak Jedi Master on the High Council, Kolar was regarded as a lightsaber expert. He replaced Eeth Koth on the Council and was known for his aggressive fighting style. Like Tiin, he fell to Darth Sidious almost instantly, suggesting that while he was formidable, there were limits to his power when facing a Sith of Sidious’s caliber.

Pong Krell = 7.1 out of 10 – A Besalisk Jedi Master with a brute-force approach, Krell wielded two double-bladed lightsabers and mowed down waves of clone troopers during the Battle of Umbara. His raw strength and ferocity were very high (nearly matching some Council Masters), but his lack of restraint and eventual fall to the dark side bring him in at a lower high-tier level.

Saesee Tiin = 7.0 out of 10 – A respected Iktotchi Jedi Master and Council member known for his telepathic talents and ace piloting. In combat, Master Tiin was strong (he joined Windu’s team to arrest Palpatine), but he was cut down quickly by Darth Sidious. He’s still considered a powerful Jedi, if a step beneath the very strongest.

Ben Skywalker = 7.0 out of 10 – Ben Skywalker, the son of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade, naturally inherited enormous Force potential, but as a teenager during the Second Galactic Civil War and beyond, his powers were still coming into their own. As a youth, Ben initially closed himself off from the Force (traumatized by sensing the Yuuzhan Vong war as a toddler), resulting in a late start to his training. Once he committed to the path, Ben quickly showed aptitude: he developed a talent for psychometry (reading Force imprints on objects) and became a skilled tracker and stealth operative under his mother’s and Jacen Solo’s tutelage. By age 14–16, he was capable of outfoxing Galactic Alliance Guard squads, resisting mind control attempts, and defeating minor Sith apprentices in combat. Ben’s lightsaber technique improved rapidly; he held his own against experienced foes and even killed the Sith apprentice Vestara Khai’s father in a duel, albeit with some dark side anger at play. Still young, Ben’s raw Force strength hadn’t fully manifested – Luke noted that Ben was strong, but without the refined control or experience to fully utilize it yet. Notably, Ben’s greatest feats were more investigative or empathetic: for instance, he helped heal a captured Sith through the Force by understanding her pain, and he frequently partnered with his father in complex missions, learning to use advanced Force tactics through guidance. By the Legacy comics era (in alternate continuity), Ben is implied to have become a wise, powerful Jedi grandmaster of his own, but as of his last chronicle in the novels, he was a capable Knight-level practitioner. We rate Ben Skywalker a bit above average for a Jedi Knight: his lineage and quick progression give him a high ceiling, but his demonstrated feats by his late teens were moderate compared to legends. With time, his score would no doubt climb, but at the end of the Legends narrative, Ben was a strong yet still-maturing Jedi with much unrealized power.

Coleman Trebor = 7.0 out of 10 – A Vurk Jedi Master who sat on the Council briefly, Coleman Trebor’s most noted encounter was his attempt to confront Count Dooku on Geonosis, where he was shot and killed by Jango Fett. His quick defeat suggests that, while he was a Jedi Master, his combat skills were not particularly exceptional, placing him in the lower tier.

Kam Solusar = 6.9 out of 10 – Kam Solusar was a former Dark Side Adept turned Jedi Master under Luke Skywalker’s tutelage. In terms of raw Force power, Kam was reasonably strong – he had been taught some dark arts by the Empire (so he could use Force lightning and aggressive telekinesis to a degree) and then purified those skills for the light side. He helped Luke reestablish the Jedi and served as one of the first instructors. Kam’s lightsaber skills were solid; he survived the Imperial Dark Side Elite and fought in the thick of many battles during the resurrected Palpatine crisis and beyond. However, Kam was never highlighted as exceptionally powerful compared to others of Luke’s students (like Kyp or Kyle). He was more so steadfast and experienced, a reliable second-in-command. For example, during the early Yuzhaan Vong War, Kam contributed in fights but didn’t exhibit showy feats – his power was enough to slay enemies and defend the Academy, but not on an Earth-shaking scale. One notable feat in Legends was Kam fighting side by side with Tionne against the Yuuzhan Vong at the Academy, holding off invaders (though Tionne was injured). His ability to resist the dark side (coming back from it) also speaks to strong willpower in the Force. Overall, Kam Solusar rates as a competent Jedi Master with above-average strength and saber ability, but not among the very strongest or most gifted. His balanced, unremarkable (in the literal sense) strength lands him in the mid-6s on the scale – powerful enough to be respected, but easily eclipsed by the star players in the New Jedi Order.

Eno Cordova = 6.8 out of 10 – Master Eno Cordova was a scholar of the Force, more an archaeologist than a frontline warrior. His strengths lay in his wisdom, encyclopedic knowledge of ancient cultures, and foresight – he uncovered the Zeffo vaults and set up trials for a future generation (Cal Kestis) to follow. In terms of Force power, Cordova was adept with Force visions and had sufficient telekinetic skill to navigate tomb defenses. He wielded a lightsaber but was far more comfortable solving puzzles than engaging in combat. By the time of the Empire, Cordova lived in seclusion, and while he survived the Purge initially, he ultimately was no match for Darth Vader (who killed him while Cordova was protecting a Jedi archive). Cordova’s ranking reflects a lower combat power level; he was a Jedi Master, but of an intellectual and passive sort, not focused on honing battle prowess or extreme Force feats.

Master Kelnacca = 6.7 out of 10 – Kelnacca, a Wookiee Jedi Master in the High Republic, was distinguished by his imposing physical strength and endurance in the Force. In combat, he combined Wookiee might with Jedi training, making him a formidable duelist – at one point he fought off fellow Jedi under a mind-control spell, requiring multiple Jedi to subdue him. Kelnacca’s raw Force talent was decent, though he was eventually outmatched by a Sith Lord known as the Stranger, who killed him. This suggests that while powerful in close quarters and uniquely tough, Kelnacca’s Force abilities and adaptability were average for a Master. His valor and brawn were his standout traits, supporting a slightly above-middling power rating.

Luminara Unduli = 6.6 out of 10 – A Mirialan Jedi Master renowned for her discipline and mastery of Form III lightsaber combat. Luminara led troops in many battles and held her own against formidable foes (such as Asajj Ventress, briefly). While powerful and wise, she was still somewhat middle-of-the-pack compared to the very elite Jedi, hence a mid-range rating.

Master Indara Stokes = 6.5 out of 10 – Master Indara Stokes was a Jedi Master during the High Republic who took part in missions like the Brendol mission with Sol and Kelnacca. She was a capable Force-user and leader – entrusted with a Padawan – but her abilities were not especially highlighted as extraordinary among Masters. Indara was strong enough in the Force to break a possession spell on a fellow Jedi, and she wielded her lightsaber skillfully in tense situations. However, she fell victim to a vengeful adversary (being murdered by the dark side witch Mae), indicating that her powers of foresight and defense had limits. Solid and wise, but not exceptionally powerful, Indara served as a steady Council-level Jedi of her time.

Jaro Tapal = 6.5 out of 10 – Jaro Tapal was a Lasat Jedi Master and a General in the Clone Wars, best known as the mentor of Cal Kestis. Physically towering and strong, Tapal was a fierce combatant who wielded a dual-bladed lightsaber with devastating effect against battle droids and clone troopers. During Order 66, Master Tapal fought off waves of clone troopers aboard his cruiser – his last stand saw him cutting down many troopers and even using the Force to blast others aside while ensuring Cal’s escape. His raw Force power was solid, allowing feats like enhanced jumps and briefly shielding his Padawan from clone fire, but nothing to suggest upper-echelon mastery beyond his martial prowess. Tapal’s sacrifice and combat skill indicate a powerful Jedi Knight/Master, albeit one more grounded in physical strength and resolve than esoteric Force abilities.

Adi Gallia = 6.4 out of 10 – A Tholothian Jedi Master and Council member, Adi Gallia was a skilled pilot and adept with a lightsaber. She dueled General Grievous and later Savage Opress (losing her life in the latter encounter). Her prowess was solid, though not quite at the level of the top Council masters.

Finn = 6.4 out of 10 – A former First Order stormtrooper who defected to join the Resistance, Finn displayed natural combat aptitude, strong willpower, and emerging Force sensitivity. Though lacking formal Jedi training, he proved himself in battle repeatedly — from wielding Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber against Kylo Ren and holding his own briefly, to leading daring ground assaults against overwhelming odds. In The Rise of Skywalker, Finn’s Force connection became clearer: he could sense Rey’s location and danger across great distances, anticipate attacks, and make instinctive tactical decisions that saved lives. While his lightsaber technique was raw, his courage and adaptability allowed him to duel skilled foes, survive encounters with dark side users, and rally allies in critical moments. In Legends-like interpretations, Finn’s potential as a Jedi is significant — had he trained formally, his blend of battlefield leadership, physical skill, and latent Force talent could have elevated him far higher. At present, his score reflects a capable warrior with untapped Jedi potential rather than a fully realized Force master.

Tenel Ka Djo = 6.3 out of 10 – Tenel Ka, princess of Hapes and daughter of a Dathomiri witch, was a Jedi Knight known for her warrior prowess and discipline. Her Force potential was above average – coming from the Hapan royal line and Dathomiri heritage – but she intentionally focused on physical training over flashy Force use. After losing her arm in a lightsaber training accident (which she refused to replace with a prosthetic), Tenel Ka trained herself to fight one-handed, turning a potential weakness into a testament to her determination. She was excellent in combat, often wielding a rancor-tooth lightsaber or traditional Dathomiri weapons, and defeated many adversaries through skill and sheer tenacity. Tenel Ka’s Force abilities tended toward enhancement: augmented strength, leaping, and senses. She could do standard telekinesis and mind tricks when needed, but rarely relied on them, preferring a straightforward approach. One of her notable achievements was as Queen Mother of Hapes – she used her leadership and Jedi insight to keep her people safe, even fending off coups. In the Dark Nest crisis and the Second Galactic Civil War, Tenel Ka held her own against Nightsisters and soldiers, though she wasn’t typically on the front lines due to her political role. Her connection to Jacen Solo (they had a daughter) also formed a strong Force bond, which at times heightened her awareness (she notably felt Jacen’s fall to the dark side). Overall, Tenel Ka’s power lies in her unwavering will and combat excellence more than raw Force magnitude. She’s rated around 6.0, indicating a solid Jedi Knight/Master who can certainly vanquish common threats, but who doesn’t seek or display the more extravagant uses of the Force that higher-rated Jedi do. Her calm, resolute mindset is both her strength and the limiter on her power expression.

Even Piell = 6.0 out of 10 – A diminutive Lannik Jedi Master, Piell was nonetheless a fierce fighter. He served on the Council and notably sacrificed himself during the Citadel rescue mission. He had considerable combat ability (especially for his size), but falls into the mid range as his power was more limited compared to larger, stronger Jedi Masters.

Bell Zettifar = 6.0 out of 10 – Bell Zettifar was a Padawan during the High Republic known for his bravery and emerging talent. Under Master Loden Greatstorm’s tutelage, Bell developed solid telekinetic and Force bond abilities – including a close connection with his charhound, Ember. He survived intense trials like the fall of Starlight Beacon and demonstrated Force feats such as cushioning his own falls and sensing life amidst chaos. Bell’s lightsaber skills were those of a Padawan nearing knighthood: competent but not yet at Master level. His raw Force power and special abilities were still developing, placing him at a moderate level, though his courage and resilience often let him punch above his weight.

Yord Fandar = 6.0 out of 10 – Yord Fandar was a Jedi Knight active in the late High Republic era, known for aiding Master Sol’s team. He had typical skills in the Force – such as basic telekinesis and sensing – but no legendary feats to his name before his demise. Fandar fought alongside other Jedi against dark side witches and the Stranger, displaying bravery and competence with a lightsaber. Ultimately, he was killed during the confrontation with the hidden Sith. His capabilities seemed on par with a seasoned Knight but below elite Masters, making him a standard example of a Jedi whose solid Force talents were eclipsed by more powerful figures of his era.

Sifo-Dyas = 6.0 out of 10 – Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas had a powerful gift of foresight but was of only moderate overall power among the Order. He is most famous for secretly commissioning the clone army due to visions of a coming war. Sifo-Dyas’s combat or telekinetic feats were not widely recorded; his strength lay in prophetic Force insight. While a capable Jedi, he often struggled to convince the Council of his visions, indicating that his leadership impact was limited. He met his end in an ambush before the Clone Wars, suggesting his dueling and defensive skills were not extraordinary. Sifo-Dyas’s legacy looms large, but in direct power scale he ranks as a middling Master with one exceptional ability (precognition).

Gungi = 5.9 out of 10 – Gungi was a Wookiee youngling during the Clone Wars who constructed his own lightsaber and showed strong promise. Even as a child, Gungi’s connection to the Force was apparent: he passed the Gathering trial on Ilum, using patience and the Force to earn his crystal. His Wookiee strength combined with basic Jedi training made him surprisingly formidable against creatures and hostile forces for his age. In the Clone Wars, Gungi and fellow younglings fought off pirates – Gungi notably knocked back opponents with his lightsaber and even momentarily held his own against adults. Later, surviving into the Imperial era, Gungi was seen using the Force to communicate with Kashyyyk’s fauna and defend innocents. Still, he remains a child in training, far below Knight level in refined power. His rating reflects an impressive young talent whose full potential remains untapped.

Cilghal = 5.8 out of 10 – Cilghal, the Mon Calamari Jedi Master, exemplified the healer and diplomat archetype within Luke’s Jedi Order. Her Force power was channeled primarily into healing arts – she famously cured Mon Mothma from a lethal poisoning/nanovirus using the Force, a feat of deep knowledge and concentration. Cilghal’s healing ability and insight were among the best in the Order, allowing her to mend wounds and purge toxins that others could not. However, in combat, Cilghal was not a front-line fighter. She carried a lightsaber and had basic proficiency, but her role was typically supportive or investigative. For instance, she often helped with research and negotiation, using the Force to sense truth and emotions. Cilghal’s notable contributions include calming a rampaging Dewback creature with the Force and creating antidotes for bio-weapons during the Yuuzhan Vong war. Her telekinetic and offensive powers were serviceable but not remarkable – certainly below the likes of Kyp or Jaina. Instead, her deep connection to the living Force and scholarly approach made her invaluable in non-combat challenges. When pressed, Cilghal could defend herself with the Force (perhaps using water currents or environmental advantages, as a Mon Cal), but her strength was resolving conflicts without violence. On the Council, she was respected for her wisdom. In summary, Cilghal’s score reflects a Jedi Master whose power is specialized: extremely potent in healing and sense abilities, but modest in destructive force. She’s comparatively lower-rated because raw power (as in dueling or large-scale telekinesis) was not her focus. Nonetheless, in her domain – saving lives and unraveling mysteries – Cilghal was top-notch, proving that not all power is measured by combat prowess.

Tiplar = 5.5 out of 10 – A Mikkian Jedi Knight who fought alongside her twin sister in the Clone Wars. Tiplar was skilled enough to serve as a General in the Grand Army of the Republic, but in terms of power scale she ranks on the lower side. (Tiplar is effectively tied with her twin Tiplee, as both had very similar training and abilities.)

Tiplee = 5.5 out of 10 – The twin sister of Tiplar, also a Jedi Knight. Tiplee shared the same training and battlefield experience as her sister. She demonstrated comparable combat skills, so she ties with Tiplar at a 5.5 power rating out of 10.

Jocasta Nu = 5.5 out of 10 – Madame Jocasta Nu, the Chief Librarian of the Jedi Archives, was far from the Order’s most powerful fighter but had a unique strength in knowledge. An elderly Master by the Clone Wars, her Force abilities were basic – she could use telekinesis to hurl objects (including library books) at enemies as a distraction. She was proficient enough with a lightsaber to duel the Grand Inquisitor briefly and even momentarily outwit Darth Vader by employing a concealed lightsaber rifle that blew open a temple wall. These clever feats show that while Jocasta lacked raw power or advanced combat technique, her ingenuity and resolve allowed her to challenge far stronger foes for a time. Ultimately, Vader defeated and killed her, reflecting her relatively low power level among Masters – but not before she safeguarded crucial Jedi knowledge with her life.

Grogu = 5.5 out of 10 – Grogu, the young member of Yoda’s species colloquially known as “Baby Yoda,” possesses immense raw Force potential that belies his small size and infantile behavior. At roughly 50 years old (still a toddler for his species), Grogu has spontaneously demonstrated powerful telekinesis – he famously lifted a giant mudhorn creature off the ground with the Force, saving Din Djarin, though the effort caused Grogu to pass out for hours. He has also used Force choke instinctively to protect his guardian, and remarkably healed grievous wounds using the light side (an ability rare among Jedi). Grogu even created a Force barrier that deflected an intense flamethrower blast, shielding others from fire. These feats show that his raw connection to the Force is extraordinarily high – possibly on par with Master Yoda’s at a young age – but his control and endurance are very limited due to his infancy. Grogu requires rest after big efforts and cannot fight or train for long. With training (as briefly given by Luke Skywalker), he’s improved his agility and can calmly soothe raging beasts (e.g. calming a rancor into sleep). In summary, Grogu’s power scale is tricky: his potential is off the charts, but usable power at present is moderate. At times he can perform a miracle, then nap immediately after, placing him at a mid-level rating that could skyrocket as he matures.

Coleman Kcaj = 5.0 out of 10 – An Ongree Jedi Master who joined the Council in the final days of the Clone Wars. Unlike most others on this list, Coleman Kcaj had no notable combat encounters depicted. His inclusion on the Council implies wisdom or other strengths, but with virtually no combat feats known, his power scale rating sits at the very bottom of this group.

Bolla Ropal = 5.0 out of 10 – Bolla Ropal was a Rodian Jedi Master charged with protecting a Jedi holocron during the Clone Wars. He was a capable Jedi Consular with an attunement to the Force sufficient to guard important knowledge, but he was not noted for exceptional combat power. In The Clone Wars series, Ropal was captured by Cad Bane and, under torture, tragically died rather than reveal the holocron’s secrets – demonstrating great resolve but limited ability to free himself. His lightsaber skills and Force powers, while meeting the standard for a Jedi Master, were evidently not strong enough to overcome Bane’s devices. Thus, Ropal’s power scale is on the lower end for Masters, marked by dedication and wisdom more than raw strength or battle feats.

Tera Sinube = 4.0 out of 10 – Tera Sinube was an elderly Cosian Jedi Master who exemplified wisdom and patience more than battlefield power. By the Clone Wars, his physical abilities had waned – he moved slowly, leaning on his lightsaber cane. Sinube’s connection to the Force manifested in acute insight and investigative intuition; he helped young Ahsoka Tano solve a crime by tapping into underworld knowledge rather than Force might. In combat, he could still surprise an opponent (as when he swiftly disabled a thief with his cane-saber), but his contributions were chiefly advisory. He survived Order 66 initially by staying hidden, but later fell victim to the Empire’s Jedi hunters. On a power scale, Sinube ranks low due to minimal raw Force usage and diminished dueling capacity, though his sagacity was invaluable.

Stass Allie = 4.0 out of 10 – A Tholothian Jedi Master and cousin of Adi Gallia, Stass Allie took her place on the Council late in the Clone Wars. She was a healer and skilled Jedi but saw limited action on screen. Her combat abilities, while respectable, appeared to be less prominent, putting her just below the mid-tier cutoff.

Zett Jukassa = 3.5 out of 10 – Zett Jukassa was a human Padawan in his teens who briefly made a stand during Operation Knightfall (as seen in Revenge of the Sith). Despite his youth and incomplete training, Zett’s latent Force talent and Temple training allowed him to cut down several clone troopers with aggressive lightsaber strikes before he fell. This quick burst of skill – taking out clones in the Jedi Temple’s defense – showed that he had above-average lightsaber proficiency for his age and decent reflexes. However, as a Padawan he lacked the deeper Force mastery or endurance of senior Jedi. His power score reflects a courageous apprentice capable of a moment of brilliance but far below Knight or Master levels.

Kalifa = 2.5 out of 10 – Kalifa was a young Padawan who, by the time Ahsoka Tano met her, had been surviving in hiding after Order 66. Resourceful and determined, Kalifa had rudimentary Force abilities and basic lightsaber training (improvised into a sharp stick when in hiding). She helped lead a small group of younglings evading Trandoshan hunters, using stealth and teamwork more than overt Force use. Kalifa managed minor Force feats like enhancing her jumps and sensing danger, but her lack of full training showed – she was overpowered and killed by a Trandoshan during an escape attempt. On the scale, she ranks very low, as her Force potential was largely unrealized and her combat skills were juvenile, save for the bravery she showed.
